1.1 The cost of your session will depend on the service you have selected and/or how you were referred to We Lysn.
1.2 Any fees for your session will be notified to you at the time of booking your session via our platform.
For no-cost, or reduced cost services, please refer to the specific terms and conditions of your referrer regarding any fees that you may incur due to the funding type.

3.1 *To be eligible for a refund from Medicare for your session you are required to have a referral from a GP and a current Mental Health Care Plan.
3.2 We will charge the full fee for your session at the time of your booking. The fee will depend on which type of clinician you booked for your session.
3.3 When we charge you for your session you will have the option to authorise We Lysn to claim your Medicare rebate on your behalf.
3.4 The Medicare rebate is processed post your completed session
3.5 If there are any issues with your Medicare rebate please contact Medicare on 132 011.
3.6 Medicare bulk-billing sessions are only available to people under the age of 21 or over 65 years of age.
4.1 We Lysn can provide an itemised private health insurance receipt for you to lodge a refund request with your private health fund. We Lysn is not able to lodge a rebate request on your behalf with your private health fund.
4.2 The rebate amount will vary depending on your private health fund. For further information please contact your private health fund.
5.1 We Lysn also offers privately billed sessions. Should you wish to book a privately billed session then your card will be charged at the time of booking, not after your session.
6.1 We Lysn offers subsidised sessions to eligible customers who are referred to We Lysn through a business Wellbeing/EAP arrangement. Please contact your referring organisation for further details.
7.1 You or your We Lysn for business Wellbeing/EAP Program referring organisation will be liable for the full session fee, if:
7.1.1 You made a booking for a session and failed to attend your scheduled appointment; or
7.1.2 You arrived late to your session by 15 minutes or more from your scheduled session start time; or
7.1.3 You cancel your booked session with a clinician and provide less than 1 business day’s notice of cancellation.
7.2 If the We Lysn for Business wellbeing/EAP Program of your referring organisation has agreed a different Cancellation and No Show Policy with We Lysn, then the policy in the We Lysn for business Wellbeing/EAP Program agreement between We Lysn and your referring organisation will apply.
8.1 There is no fee for rescheduling a session when you provide at least 1 business days’ notice in advance of your scheduled consultation start time.
8.2 If you reschedule an appointment with less than 1 business days’ notice, you or your We Lysn for Business Wellbeing/EAP Program referring organisation will be charged the full session fee for the session you have rescheduled.
8.3 In the event that the Workplace Wellbeing/EAP Program of your referring organisation has agreed a different Rescheduling Policy with We Lysn, then the policy in the We Lysn for Business Wellbeing/EAP Program agreement between Lysn and your referring organisation will apply.
9.1 These terms and conditions take effect from 29 February, 2024.
